Artowood (Thailand) Co., Ltd is the first and largest woodplastic
composite (WPC) research and manufacturing facility in
Thailand. Mr. Thanadon Sattabongkot, a renowned university
lecturer, pioneered WPC research, developed and patented
innovation, he was awarded the Most Promising Innovator
Award. The potential value of Artowood® and its impact on the
environment was recognized by the government of Thailand.
The mission of Artowood® is to reduce the global consumption
of natural wood using synthetic wood to replace and substitute
natural solid wood as a building material. Wood is a
recyclable and renewable resource where man can plant and
replant again unlike cement and metal based materials. Yet
over-consumption results in vanishing tropical rainforests and
contributed enormously to global warming. |
